Artist, performer and activist Gustavo Moradel returns to Champlain for the 3rd consecutive year to tell his personal story of coming to the US at 12 years old. Gustavo touches on his lived experience as a DACA recipient, repairing his relationship with his parents, and his advocacy work in the immigration system. His story is an inspiring, educational, engaging and sobering perspective on the lived experience of over half a million DACA recipients currently living in the USA.
Fulfills the second year DareToCAREtalk InSight milestone. Must attend the full talk to satisfy this requirement.
